THF Diffclties-- 1st voking

Well I was kind of doing ok with BLM til 55 but then I had my Lv54 Rogue's Bonnet waiting in the MH that I got with Klausen and Flesh so I decided to level THF some more. I found invites to parties not as forthcoming with THF as I have come to expect. I wish I would have leveled my THF up to 57 sooner instead so that I could catch up to my old buddy Yccsama who is JP but who is a great first voker.

That is the crux of my problem and what I most dislike about parties now. I have to tell them what to do. I don't mind pulling and doing a whole lot of work to get SATA off right in the middle right on time with no dmg to the first voker but please do what I say!! Fyi, if I SATA off-center, I SATA for less damage, if I take too long to SATA, the first voker starts to get pounded and that puts the WHM in danger. First voker to most people means they voke. NO! That is the least of what I need. I need you to wait till the monster passes you and then to turn the mob so that it faces away from the mages. Then with SATA already loaded, and auto-lock on, I can line up right in the middle and run up and hit the mob almost with no delay right after the PLD is set close enuf to where I want him, that is in the center. Usually what I get though is: first voker vokes, I end up clear past the tank by the mages and now I have to get back and pass the voker, pass the mob, pass the pld to the spot where I have to line up and hit SATA asap. >.<

Well things are even harder in JP partys too. Yesterday I had this one guy, a Korean, as a whm, who quit after a first attempt because he wanted to find a party but after a while lfg came back and asked me to build a party. So I did. I got this excellent party, with a lot of work, WHM RDM NIN THF/NIN THF/WAR and DRG. I was going to first voke so that everything would work smoothly. Well we get there and the first thing we do is aggro bats. I did. I knew they aggroed but one of our pt, a rank 10 guy, just runs past one and I'm like wth. So I run and it aggroes and I die. Well as leader, that's perhaps the worst thing you can do. Well we regroup and try to make it to the other camp but now the whm won't move. I go to the other camp and wait for whm since he has Sneak and since I have told him in auto-translate sev times to /follow. Then another party member dies. Then we wait, and then a party member already at camp and close to another party aggroes a beetle(this was in King Ranpierre's Tomb) so I voke it off her and she warps to Jeuno. Well then I die(again, but what else could I do) and the beetle proceeds to start the slaughter of the party there that now thinks I MPK'd them. The perfect end to a perfect day. Everyone disbands.

I went to Famke's website and got the printouts done for the Thief AF gear. I got my Marauder's Knife with some little effort but was very proud of completing that quest. Luckily, I got invited by Kodiak to join this linkshell called Nobodysangels(NBA) and found myself very lucky to have help getting my AF gear almost accomplished. Thanks go out to Flesh and Klausen and Yoimaguy for helping. I really think that there is no way that I would have done this without them.

As expected, I find myself wanting to level my other jobs but don't want to have to start working on their AF stuff also. I am also running out of space in the Mog house. Hmm what to do.
