I am in this linkshell called Nobodyzangels. I joined it cuz of Kodiak but found many of my old friend's list guys already members of it. But to my surprise, Saeliin was there. Saeliin was in my linkshell EternalFamily which only had 5 people or so in it. It ws cool though cuz my friend Rod was the leader and I know him in real life. He is a bartender and works mostly on the weekends like me. He and his wife had decent level characters and helped me get my subjob quest done and my Carby ruby for SMN job. I got rank 5 with their help too. Anyway, I am prob 60% sure that Rod's wife got tired of the game and got Rod to give it up too. One time a guy refused to pay his wife for a teleport and Rod went crazy on the poor guy. He was even mentioning it at the bar. Well you never know who's wife you're pissin off I guess. ^^ Anyway Saeliin was in that linkshell and helped out a lot with stuff. He really does like to help people. I was happy to find out he was in this linkshell. We use our real names in tells now when we talk, lol.
Wednesday, Sabrial was back online after her trip to CA. She is a very diligent ls leader. Her husband is Dyntithius and he is less energetic but still pleasant to be around. As a present, he got her swimsuit quest done for her and got her the swimsuit and she was wearing it around. I think she was very happy with it. Well the ls was very quiet while she was gone but you can tell how many people she has helped when everyone goes SAB!!!!!!!! wb wb wb ^^ ^^ ^^. lol. First thing she decides to do is to help get Saeliin's coffer from the Temple of Uggalpeh for his SMNs AF. I was like, dang just like that, wow, so I decide to take my THF along since the TH2 will help with the drops. It was a long ride out there on chocos and I could tell by the many pauses Sabrial was taking that she was either overloaded with tells or she was tired from her trip and just got back. I really am amazed that she took time to help ole Sael, but I was also surprised how many people came along to help. Vondolyn was a high level RNG and ws helping. Sab is a 75 RDM. Klausen was there with his 58 MNK this time. I actually was able to skill up my Archery a bit while we started hitting up those mobs for the key.
Normally I would not have got up and went out to help just like that. I like to plan things and look forward to helping and prioritize what I am going to do. I had a printout of things I was going to do that night like get my AF2 pants and with enough time get the AF2 armor and skill up Archery and scour Western Altepa for the Goblin Hunters and shop for Silent Oil and Deodorizers and try to open the BLM hands quest since with Uchipu's help I got the BLM weapon done. But, I didn't do a damn thing, but go with Saeliin and the group to get his key. It took that long. I used THF/WHM so I could Invisible myself but I got put in charge of two others too.^^ Oh well, it was fun.
When I was about to log off, I found myself in the temple and, with no Instant Warp scroll, I was going to have to wind my way out of the temple and was gonna have to hike it to Kazham the whole way. Well by some miracle I exit the temple to this area in the jungle that I can just drop down and hop on over to the outpost. Neat. So I log off at the outpost and the next day I log back in and prepare to make the trek back. But then foolishly, I find some Goblin Bouncers and aggro one, then two, then I have four of em and I have no idea where I am going! Then, out of nowhere, the screen changes and I zone into Ifrit's Cauldron. I'm so lucky! Better yet, I find next to the Goblin Bouncers, Goblin Hunters! And right next to the zone!! Hah! Well needless to say I skilled up and used up all the arrows and all the bolts I had on me, about 4 stacks worth. Then I hiked it all the way to Kazham.
Funny, all that time killing lizzies paid off in a way cuz I used the markers on my map to guide me through Yhutunga Jungle. If I didn't go there all the time(trying to get my stupid, stupid, stupid, Elshi-fu#@!n-Marble), I might have been lost for days.
